How can I book a tour?
You can book a wine tour right on my website and reserve it here. After booking, you will receive an invoice via email for bank transfer, which needs to be paid prior the start of the tour.
If you wish a tailor-made tour, simply send me an email and I will be happy to create an itinerary for you.
How many people are typically on your tours?
My tours are only for people who you book the tour for. If's only you and your friend / partner, it will only be the two of you and the tourist guide. If you book for you and your friends, it will only be for you and your friends.
Can I change the wineries during the wine tour?
Yes, changing wineries and attractions is possible, but please get in contact with me first, before you book the tour.
Do I need any vaccinations?
No, you don't need any vaccinations for my wine tours, however if you are feeling sick, than I recommend not to attend the tour.
When do you offer tours?
I offer wine tours daily from April to October. Please get in touch with me first, if you would like to go on a wine tour in any of not mentioned months.
Can I schedule a tour at any time of day?
Yes, I can adjust the tour to your schedule. Please get in touch with me first, so we can discuss the details.
What languages do you offer tours in?
I offer tours only in English and German. However, I can provide tour guides, that speak fluent Italian, French, Russian and Spanish as well.

As a wine enthusiast, I know most of the winemakers in person and I am able to tailor a wine tour, according to your wishes and preferences. I also offer the best price on the market, as I am willing to create an unforgettable and unique wine adventure, where you will get the most for your money. My tours always include lunch or dinner and transport from and to your accommodation, as I know you can't eat only cheese and bread during wine tastings and you are not allowed to drive after tasting wine.
What are the age restrictions on your tours?
I have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Please contact me first, if any of the members is under the age of 18.
Are airport transfers included?
No, my tours don't include airport transfer. However, I can help you find the suitable option.
What type of ground transportation is used on your tours?
I mostly use my car, which can accommodate up to 3 or 4 people. For bigger groups , I hire a van.
What's included in your wine tours?
- the undivided attention of your expert English or German speaking guide for the duration of the tour
- pick-up from hotel, transport to destination and return
- entrance fees to the places visited
- wine tastings and food
- travel insurance
What's NOT included in the tour price?
- personal expenses
- extra wine tastings (if you wish to visit additional wineries),
- drinks during lunch or dinner
Are tips included in the tour?
No, tips for guide are not included. If you are satisfied with the wine experience, you have the option to tip the guide.
How can I pay for the tour?
For booking a tour we require it to be paid at the time of booking. This is the only guarantee for you to get the tour that you booked.
You can also pay for the tour in cash at the start of the tour.
In this case you need to be aware that in case of cancelling the tour less than 24 hours before the start of the tour or not showing up, you will be charged 50% of the price.
Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, we offer credit card payments with our payment partner. You may pay by MasterCard and VISA.
Do I have to pay in Euro?
Yes, I only accepts payment in EURO.
Can I make any changes to the itinerary of my group trip, either before or during the trip?
Yes, you can adjust the tour, according to your wishes and preferences. In that case, please contact me first.
What happens if it rains on the day of the tour or is it very bad weather?
If it rains on the day of your tour, there is not much to worry about! I recommend you to wear appropriate shoes and warm clothes. All wine tastings will be inside the wineries, so you will not be exposed to bad weather. We may only have troubles with visibility in case of fog.
How much walking do the tours involve?
Little to no walking. If you would like to add some trekking to the desired wine tour, please get in contact with me first.
What should I bring to the tours?
Please come in comfortable shoes and clothes. Keep in mind that temperatures in wine cellars are a bit lower than usual, so take a warm jacket with you. When it’s sunny cover up or put some sunscreen on. If paying for the tour in cash, please bring money with you and have some extra if you would like to buy some wine. Some wineries and tourist farm don't accept credit cards.
Where do the wine tours start and end?
At the accommodation you are staying at, or in advance known location.
How can I cancel my booking, and how do I know if I’m eligible for a refund?
You are entitled to a full refund if you cancel at least 2 days in advance. If you cancel in less than 24 hours, you will be charged 50% of the full price and if you cancel in less than 12 hours, you will be charged the full price.
How are refunds processed and how long does it take to receive the credit?
Credit card refunds are issued back to your credit card account — you typically can't receive your refund in other forms of payment such as cash. Refunds on credit card purchases usually take 7 days. Credit card refund times vary by merchant and bank.
What recommendations are now in place for tours since Covid-19?
At the moment, there are no wine tours allowed.
Do you provide insurance to cover my tour?
Yes, all my guests are insured from the beginning and end of the tour. The insurance fee is included in the price.
